I took this shot in a fabric market in Shanghai. These fabrics are used to make the traditional chinese dresses and shirts.

As I gazed around the backlot at work, I stumbled upon a colorful scenary. The combination of Los Angeles blue sky, my yellow office building, and colorful parade exhibition makes this picture as vibrant as it can be. The three primary colors (blue, red, and green) are well represented, along with other colors (yellow, light blue, and pink). The beautiful spectrum of all these colors stimulates our cone cells.

A shade of Green....a color, the perception of which is evoked by light having a spectrum dominated by energy with a wavelength of roughly 520–570-nm.

Often we take for granted what is given to us from the earth. From the simple treading on grass yet having a single care of how it affects, to macerating the jungles to provide for our own selfish needs. Nevertheless, we see no beauty of something simple, until the realization of it is made visible.

The essence of the grass in this picture portrays the magnificence of the earth. A miracle that grows on nothing but earth, sunlight, and water. What we stand on everyday without realizing, that it too is life. However, this life presents itself in an exceptional color without withdrawn or hesitation. With pride to be what it is and giving to the world. The provider of breath, heat, shelter, and many more in many of its unselfish ways. Truly unlike other life forms vacating this planet. Truly pure and green.

Green symbolizes hopes and growth, life and rebirth.

If you know how I organize my pictures, you'll know how difficult it is to find "THEME" pictures.
Fortunately, I was able to find this yummy photo and I just have to post it.

As opposed to choosing a photo with vibrant colors,
I decided to pick more of the pastel and muted colors.

After trekking up and then down the Big Buddha in Hong Kong, I ended up sitting around, people watching. Upon one of my scans, I saw a small field of colorful pinwheels. There were rows of pinwheels outside of what I think was a small monastery. The breeze was nice, and the pinwheels were all moving at their own speed. I'm surprised the kids didn't see this and congregate toward it, because I was the only one admiring it, and I'm pretty sure I ran towards it. Don't get me wrong, the Big Buddha was a sight to see, but it's all quite monochromatic, and so it was nice to feast my eyes on some contrasting hues.

This guy was just chilling like any other day at the market while selling his junk. Nice, calm and blue.

Almost everyone likes a shade of the color blue.
If you look closely at this picture you will see all the different types of blue. But you will not be able to determine which blue is the original blue color.
Each shade is unique. And what makes the different hue of blue special is the blue colors that surrounds each other.
If you pay attention to the color of this picture each shade will give you a different feeling and association.
